J.K. Perry, General Manager comes to TV 5 after a brief hiatus working in media. He moved to the valley three years ago to take a position with the Vail Daily, where he covered several beats, including cops, courts, Minturn, Red Cliff and the ski industry.

He attended the University of Iowa, reporting and editing for The Daily Iowan, the campus newspaper. In college he also interned with the Cedar Rapids Gazette where he wrote about public safety. This Chicago native spends his free time dirtbiking, snowboarding, fly fishing and reading.
